Consider us your one stop small bale shop!
Each bale of hay we offer for sale is hay that we have grown, cut, raked, dried, baled and stacked ourselves. When we need additional help on our farm, we hire people from our local community.
We guarantee our product.
How can we stand behind our product and offer a guarantee? Every bale is subjected to a high standard of quality control. We don’t just make hay to sell, we make hay to satisfy. Each bale is weighed, at random, to ensure a consistent bale weight for all bales ordered. We also test our bales for moisture content using a meter designed specifically for hay. If it registers too high on the meter, the bale is rejected – end of story! In the rare event that you purchase a load of hay from our farm and you experience an issue with mold or dust in your bales, we will make it right at no additional charge to you.
We don’t use chemicals.
We don’t want chemicals on our food, and I suspect our animals prefer theirs the same way! From start to finish, our hay is produced without the use of any chemicals or acids which allow for faster hay production. We never add chemical fertilizers to our fields, and our hay is dried using the power of the sun as well as the use of a tedder.
We offer hay at a discount.
During hay season, we offer our customers a significant price break when purchasing hay off the wagon. If you can work around our haying schedule, off the wagon pricing will always be the most economical option for purchasing your hay.
It’s not “just hay” to us.
We don’t grow hay just to sell it and make some money. We got into haying in order to make a high quality animal food for our own animals. We demand a high quality product for them and we take pleasure in being able to offer that same high quality product for the animals on your farm too.
