In addition to the farm products produced at UP Pastured Farms, we also offer a variety of farm related services for our customers. Be sure to contact us with your questions or to set up an appointment. And yes, the rumor is true – we are currently in the process of setting up a small farm store, right here in Bruce Crossing, on our farm. We look forward to getting to know our customers a little better over some coffee and retail therapy!
Local delivery of goods is available for all products. If you’re looking for hay delivery to your location, you can estimate charges using the information here. If you’re looking for delivery of other goods, be sure to contact us for a quote, or check in with our Facebook group, UP Pastured Farms Customers, for upcoming deliveries to your area.
Not everyone needs (or wants) to keep a buck, or male goat, on their farm year round. Since we don’t mind keeping them here, we are happy to offer buck service to our customers. Fees or trades for buck service are based on the location of the servicing, and the buck selected. Currently, we are offering two servicing options. One is an unregistered and proven polled Boer cross buck. The other option is a registered 100% Boer buck, proven and DNA tested.
We love our American Guinea Hogs and truly enjoy helping to keep this heritage pig breed alive! We understand not everyone has the desire or means to raise a male pig, so we are pleased to be able to offer boar service to our customers. Fees or trades for buck service are based on the location of the servicing.
We offer disbudding services for goats. Fees are based on the location of servicing and sex of the goat. Fees begin at $20 per goat, with disbudding completed via an appointment on our farm. Disbudding at your location is optional, for an additional fee based on time and distance traveled. Bucklings may be also be banded at the time of disbudding.
NOTICE: Health Inspection Requirements
All animals requiring a service are required to undergo a physical inspection by our head farmer before being allowed to enter the servicing areas on our farm. A brief area and physical inspection is also required for animals being serviced off the farm before our animals will be allowed to leave the trailer. The inspection of animals helps us maintain a higher level of biosecurity on our farm and yours. It also helps ensure the health of all animals involved. If an animal’s condition does not allow for safe servicing of any kind, the appointment will need to be canceled or rescheduled for a time when the animal is in a healthier state.
