It’s been, quite literally, a couple of days since I began using Oral-B’s latest and greatest; The Oral-B Deep Sweep TRIACTION 1000. It’s a power toothbrush that, so far, has rocked my socks more than any other I’ve had a chance to brush with. And honestly, I was surprised to have such a fantastic initial experience with this brush. I’ve tried a handful of electric toothbrushes over the years, and none have really been anything special. I’ve always retired them rather quickly and gone back to my tried and true manual. But this time… this time just might be different.
So, what makes the Deep Sweep TRIACTION 1000 so special? It does a whole lot more than just vibrate. The bristles on the brush head all seem to move and massage my entire mouth. From my teeth to my gum line, I can feel that extra something. All the bristles dance in different directions, cleaning out areas that I just can’t quite get to with my manual, no matter how hard I try. And they really do clean with 8,800 sweeping movements and 20,000 pulsations every minute! And I don’t have to worry about my overly sensitive teeth and gums aching for me to quit brushing because the Deep Sweep is gentle with it’s automatic brushing pressure control, despite it’s constant oscillating, pulsating and rotating movements.
Now that I’ve got my Deep Sweep, I think I’ll be giving my manual the boot. It might still be good for something… like scrubbing around the drain in the sink or cleaning the hinges on the toilet , but it’s certainly no match for the Deep Sweep’s lasting dentist-clean feeling after each time I brush.
